Viewing presentations in Powerpoint 2008

Some presentations open with a huge view of the slide in the left sidebar and the editable slide is small in the top right. How can you change the view so that you get a large editable slide and a small view of the slide in the preview bar on the left?

Can you do this permanently for the presentation so it opens that way the next time?

Hi,

I think if you simply drag the divider between the two sections you can
adjust the proportions. You may need to adjust the zoom setting.

PowerPoint should remember the settings you choose for each
presentation, but you will have to save the presentation for the setting
changes to "stick."
