Viewing Stored Email messages in Project Server 2003

Is there a place on the local Project Server box or in the SQL Server
database that houses queued up email notifications that are waiting to be
sent in Microsoft Project Server 2003? If so, can you also view and delete
any built up messages in this queue?

We had email notifications turned on previously and we considering
reenabling the feature but our concern is that (if possible) we don't want
everyone to be inundated with a backlog of old email notifications that are
still waiting to be sent. Thanks in advance.

They don't queue, they simply send. If there's not smtp service there, they
go into the ethos. If you have no SMTP service stated, they don't generate.
The reminders feature runs once a night. These don't queue up either.
