Viewing the Header & Footer

When my template is loaded, the user does not see the header as part of the
document. How can I make it visible in Normal View mode?

You can't make it visible in normal view. It will be visible in print view
so long as "white space" is displayed. See
http://sbarnhill.mvps.org/WordFAQs/WhiteSpace.htm.

I am assuming that you mean when your template is used to create a new
document. When a template is "loaded" it is in the background as a global
and text in the template is not viewable.
