Views in PWA - Questions

Does anyone know if there is a way to keep any filtering on a view in PWA so
that when you go back to a particular view, that you have filtered , and not
have to redo the filtering criteria??

Second Question. In Project server is there a way to "turn off" the time
shown on the Start and Finish columns in any or all views. This is
information that we do not want or need to be presented.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The answer to your first question is no, however, you can
create a new view with that filtering and have it
available so that you do not have to keep redoing the
filtered view.

The time has to stay according to Dale Howard. The only
place in which you can turn it off is in the Time Sheet
view of your tasks. Also the Start and Finish are
default columns and cannot be deleted. They can be moved
to the end of the display so you do not have to see them
immediately after the task name if that helps.

In response to Kevin's reference to my newsgroup post about displaying the
time and date in PWA, here's the rest of the story:

The format for the date fields in PWA can be changed on the Tasks page by
clicking the View Options tab and deselecting the "Show time
with date" option. The date format CANNOT be changed in either the Project
Center or Project pages. The date format can be changed in the Resource
Center page or the View Assignments page by clicking the View Options tab
and deselecting the "Show time with date" option. Hope this clarification
helps.
