I had troubles with a working installation of Visio 2000
Enterprize. After removing the program and then
installing when I attempt to perform Network Diagram with
Autodiscovery I get an error (the solution failed to
load. Please make sure that MSDE is properly installed
and is running). MSDE is up and running correctly.
There is a knowledgebase article Q263859 that
specifically refers to this issue and that Visio 2000 SR-
1 fixes this issue. Knowledgebase article Q263721 refers
how to get SR-1. Problem is that as of 1JAN04 it is no
longer available from microsoft.
