Visio 2002/2003 File Size Too Big

what are some reasons the Visio Files are too big?

2MB for a simple one page diagram seems incredibly big. There are times
when people send me their diagrams & they are pretty tiny in size compare to
mine - even though both diagrams have the same info & objects.

as people experiment shapes are copied to the document stencil (which is not
normally visible) and are not deleted, thus a kind of background growth. you
can select the document stencil from the file menu.

Also, some people use large images of their company logos....
