Visio 2002 "Can not find server" warning and SG.DLL error

I started out getting the standard "Visio.exe has
generated errors will be closed by windows. You will need
to restart the program.". I followed the knowledge base
suggestions of reinstalling MSI, JET, MDAC and Visio
2002. Now when I start Visio, it disappears after
updating it's shape gallary and I get a "Cannot find
server" warning and a SG.DLL error in the windows event
viewer. But visio still shows up as a process in task
manager.

Anyone have any suggestions? This is driving me nuts!

I have the exact same problem. I, as you, uninstalled everything, upgraded
JET/MDAC/you name it and reinstalled Visio - but i keep getting the same
error messages as Marty.

I can start Visio, draw a new figure and save it - but if I reopen it, Visio
will crash. The problem appears just after Visio loads "UML add-on".

Actually i DO have the Pocket PC 2002 SDK installed - but Visio worked fine
for a long time together with it.

I will try to uninstall the PPC SDK and see if it helps.
