Visio 2002 error

Hi, I am running Visio 2002 in a Windows NT environment.
I am able to start Visio and it will work fine until I try
to either load a drawing or start a blank one. Then I get
the classic

"... has encountered an error and will be shutdown ...
send report to Microsoft ..."

I can load stensils but it fails when opening any/new
drawing.

I have tried re-install/repair with no progress. any
suggestions?
