Visio 2003 - error while extracting drawings from frames.

When trying to extract drawings from frames. I get the following error message.
"Microsoft Office Visio has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are
sorry for the inconvenience."

This error message is received only for one particular file. I have tried
extracting all the other drawings, it works fine.

Can anyone help me?

Oh Sorry.

What i mean is, I get error while generating frames drawings in MS Visio 2003.
It happens only with particular drawing.

What could be the reason?

Sweet indeed speaks in mysterious ways. I did not google for "frame", but
the Visio help suggests :

Create a feature control frame
From Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing, drag one of the datum frame
shapes onto the drawing page.
Open the group window by double-clicking the datum frame shape.
Note If necessary, tile the windows so that you can see the shapes.

From Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing, drag geometric characteristic
symbols, such as Flatness, into the leftmost box of the datum frame shape in
the group window.
To change the text in the datum frame shape, double-click the shape, select
the text you want to replace, and then type.
Close the group window to return to the drawing page.

Hi,

I am sorry i didnt understand exactly what you were trying to say.
However, here is what i m looking for.
I am trying to generate drawings, the information for this drawings that i m
trying to generate lies in the frames database.
I get the error only for this particular drawing that "Microsoft Office
Visio has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the
inconvenience."

However, i do not get any kind of error for any other drawings.

I can send you the screenshots for further explaination of what exactly i m
trying to do.
Please let me know, if you require the screenshots and where shall i post it.

Waiting for the reply.

If files need to be exchanged, the visguy.com forum would be the place to be.
Why not send the screenshot, the visio drawing and the MS ACCESS ? database ?
If they are not too big.
