Visio 2003 File formats and converters features now discontinued .

I think that it's important to have again (like in Visio 2000) the file
formats and converters features now discontinued (in Visio 2003).
Why do you discontinued them ?
I don't like at all the contents about the Discontinued features in:

Thanks for the feedback. Generally these items were part of some legacy
code that we were unable to bring forward to current coding and security
standards. In a few cases we were already several releases behind with
compatibility, so that there usefulness of what we provided was greatly
diminished.
