Visio 2003 Professional Code Generation

Good day,

I have Visio 2003 Professional and cannot generate code from my UML
diagrams.

Reading up on the internet, this feature is only available in Visio 2003
Enterprise Architect. Is this true?

I find this a bit ridiculous seeing as we had to uninstall Visio 2003
Enterprise Architect from our office computers because it could not open
"Visio 2003 Professional" documents because Visio 2003 Enterprise Architect
is an "older version".

Could someone please advise. This is ridiculous!

yes, v2003ea is really v2002 with an addon
yes, if you want to forward engineer uml you have to use v2003ea

Yep, I've been forced to install both Visio 2003 Pro and 2003(2) Enterprise
Architect.

Visio *2003* Enterprise Architect is misleading.

The name is Visual Studio 2003 Enterprise Architect, not Visio 2003. But
the dates make everything extremely confusing and frustrating for customers.
