Visio 2003: Vislib.dll typelib fails to register

I am running Visio 2003 from a network location. Visio itself works.

Now I want to use the drawing control in Visual Studio .NET. To be
able to do that I need to add a reference to the Visio typelib (and
some others). The Visio typelib however is not registered on my system
(XP prof SP1)
When I try to register it manually via
regsvr32 vislib.dll

I get an error message that the registration failed with error
$80004001

Any ideas?

where are you getting your vislib.dll from? Which v2003 are you using (the
ea version in vs.net is different from the v2003 professional)?
