Visio 2007 beta on Vista RC1?

I have installed Office Pro 2007 beta on both Vista RC1 x64 and x86, but
Visio 2007 beta will not install.

Is Visio 2007 beta not expected to run on Vista RC1?

Thanks.

I am confused. I installed VISTA RC1, Office 2007 Beta, as well as Visio Beta
and Project Beta (in that order, maybe 4 weeks ago?)

VISTA has been allowed to pick up any pushed out updates.

I applied Office 2007 B2TR and used just Word, so far. I now find that
Visio and Project are neither there nor will they accept B2TR versions, nor
will they allow me to reinstall from scratch to then, hopefully push then
both to B2TR.

Attempting to apply the B2TR versions results in the response being that
there are no applications available for upgrading. Browsing the registry
gave me no ideas of whether VISIO really was installed. I dare not randomly
hack the registry.

Trying to install Visio and Project Beta again both give internal error
(some number - I'll write it down next time I try).

Dear experts - does this mean that I must uninstall Office Professional 2007
and do it all over again??.

Trialling this software is not quite as much as fun as I thought. Word
master documents fall over. I've had to revert to building a website instead
of a master document/subdocument and photos because they kept corrupting.

Fortunately, none of this is business critical stuff; just totally annoying.

Hi George,

I think a complete uninstallation of all Office 2007 products and then a
reinstallation of them may help you to resolve the issue.

FYI:

1. After installing B2TR for Office, install B2TR builds for Visio & Project
immediately. Do not use them without installing B2TR builds.

2. While installing Office 2007 products, make sure all the products that
are installed are of same build level. I mean complete the installation of
all Beta2 builds first and then complete the installation of B2TR builds. Do
not mix the installations of Beta2 & B2TR - they can't succeed.

3. If you face any issues during the uninstallation of Office 2007
Products, you may use "Windows Installer clean-up utility" - kindly refer
this KB article for more information:
