Visio 2007 - Ethernet shape - adding connections

The standard Ethernet shape only has 5 connectors for connecting to devices.
How can I add one or more additional connectors?

There are two extra control points located on the center line of the shape.
Drag them outside the shape to make the lines visible. Under those are more
control points. There should be about sixty four control points that you can
connect to.
