Visio 2007 MySQL reverse engineering problem

When reverse engineering a MySQL 5.0 database (Fedora Core 5) in Visio 2007
(Windows XP), the field names are displayed in apparently "Chinese"
characters instead of the English names. I'm using the MySQL ODBC 3.51 driver.

Any suggestions?

er, what same problem ?

P.S. how you see messages bears no relation to how anyone else sees
