Visio annotations help

I can't figure out how to change the background color of the annotation.

I tried right click/format/fill color, but that had no effect.
Do I need to change the setting somewhere else?

Also, does anyone know how to change the direction of the annotation border?
It seems locked on the left side of the text.

Thanks,
CD

Hi Christopher,
The annotations shape is not a closed shape i.e. is has at least one
open end so cannot be filled. You could modify the shape geometry to
close the shape with invisible lines, or at
http://www.sdl.sandrila.co.uk and download the zip file you will find
some stencils which contain shapes called "comment" and "text
extension" which are very nearly the same but allow colour fill.
Please feel free to use them.

Each reviewer is automatically assigned a color in the Reviewers section of
the DocumentSheet (Drawing Explorer - first node - right mouse menu)
You can alter the colors there.
