Visio - Capabilities

I am new to Visio 2003 and am not at all sure of its
dabatase capabilities. I would like to have a dimensional
page to scale drawing of a floor. I would like to be able
to drag and drop dimensional shapes from a database field
according to their square foot drawings and fill up the
floor space. Is this a capability of this product?
Additionally be able to view the addition of the footage
as the objects build on the page showing their respect to
capacity to the total capacity available. I will give my
e-mail address to respondents if it will help in the
process.
