Visio download failure

I downloaded MS download manager to get a trial version of MS Visio 2007. The
download manager starts up, but doesn't download the actual software. It only
shows zero progress. What to do?

It sounds like something is preventing the download from working. You may
want to start with your Internet Explorer settings and review the security
settings for the Internet. If they are set too high it could prevent the
download. Certain applications such as anti-virus programs can be can make
changes to your firewall setting which can block traffic to and from your
computer. These are few starting points which should be checked. Are you
able to download other software from different sites?
