Visio: Glue to Shape Handles/Vertices

[NY Law Firm Trainer]

Hello. The options "Glue to Shap Handles" and "Glue to Shape Vertices" appear
to do nothing. "Toggle Glue" is activated, but whether I click the S&G
toolbar buttons or activate via Tools>Snap & Glue, there is no evident change
to shape behavior. Is there another related setting I'm missing? Thank you.

I think you are trying to glue 2D shapes to 2D shapes.
I don't know why this is not possible, maybe it is just against the
philosopy of Visio.
You could do it by adding gendered connections points to them.
