Visio has stopped working - A problem caused the program to stop..

Curt

When I exit from Visio 2007, I get this message:

"Microsoft Office Visio has stopped working

A problem caused the program to stop working correctly.
Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available."

Does anybody know what causes this and how to fix it?

In case it is relevant, I did the following leading up to this:

I installed Office Enterprise 2007. Then I installed Visio 2007 and used it
a couple of times with no errors. Then I had to do a system restore. Then I
installed some other software including Visual Studio 2005. Then I installed
Visio 2007 again. Then I got this error, so I uninstalled and re-installed
Visio 2007. I still got this error. I right-clicked the c:\program
files\microsoft office\office12\Visio.exe file and clicked "Run as
Administrator". I still got the same error when I exited.

I get the "Microsoft Office Visio has stopped working" message with Visio
2003 Enterprise. Bluetooth is disabled in the BIOS, so the Google groups post
doesn't apply.

The Bluetooth issue noted has been occuring because of the problems at
Visio shut-down from an Add-in that doesn't unload properly. So you will
need to check in Visio for any Add-ins and try either disabling them 1 by
1, or disabling all.

Disable individual Add-ins in Visio 2003:
- Tools > Macros > COM Add-ins
- If there are Add-ins in the list, you can remove them one by one and
test Visio for proper shut down behavior.

Disable all COM Add-ins in Visio 2003:
- Tools > Options > Security
- Uncheck the option "Enable COM add-ins"uses COM add-ins!
