visio hyperlinks do not work when saved as web page

I used the Format/Behavior technique to link buttons on page one to other
pages. Works fine when in "visio mode".

But when I "Save As Web Page", the hyperlinks do not work.

I want to publish the visio info on a web site and allow the user to
navigate from page to page of the visio chart using hyperlinks.

How is this done (short of using Dreamweaver to insert hyperlinks)

Thanks for responding John!

I have attached behaviors to Flowchart shapes, Arrow shapes, Work Flow
Department shapes and inserted .jpg images.

The Visio installed is the Trial version of 2007 Professional
(122.0.4518.1014).

The system is a Dell Inspiron 2650 Laptop using IE 6.0.2900.2180.

The Operating System is XP Pro SP2 Build 2600 (version 5.1.2600).

I don't think the referred bug is the glitch, but I'll look at it. Any help
you can give would be greatly appreciated.

Best Regards,
Holly

Morning Holly,

Sorry, I've just realized what you are doing. The Format / Behavior method
uses a GOTOPAGE() function (in the ShapeSheet), which as you've discovered
does work when used in a Web page.

As an alternative select you shape and then Insert / Hyperlinks... (use the
Sub-address field for inter-page links) or use the off page connector shapes
under File / Shapes / Flowchart / Basic Flowchart Shapes.

Let me know if that fixes the problem.

Best regards

John

THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!

The Insert> Hyperllink worked like a charm (with the Sub-Address Field option)

The Sub-Address Field answer alone saved me tons of time. You're the best!

I've tried this and my links are not functioning once I "Save As a Web Page".
I am using Visio Professional 2007 (Trial). Is there something else I can do?
