Visio ignores zoom setting in web hyperlinks

Hi,

Looking for a reason why my hyperlinks to another page in my visio
document appear in 100% zoom instead of the 200% zoom I set it to. It
works fine in visio, but once I save as a web page it looses the zoom.
Any ideas?

Thanks!

Im experiencing the same problem as when saved as a
webpage. it just used auto zoom all the time. even though
i set it to 100%. So at times it makes small objects
really big in size as there is nothin else on page. and
that looks really bad.

Thats right, I meant it always loads showing the entire flowchart, and not
zoomed in on the item I told it to zoom in on at 200%!

im not sure but i think ur saving the visio file a webpage
and then viewing it in the internet explorer as it opens
it in that automatically, right?? this way it ignores the
zoom. well try this, open the document in visio and then
press F5. automatically it will go into its viewer and its
not internet explorer and it displays the chart
accurately. it also follows the hyperlinks like it does in
an explorer. infact if u havent set hyperlinks or even if
u have for that matter, just by clicking on the screen you
can move through the pages as you do in a powerpoint
presentation. hope this will help.

Thanks for the reply, but it has to be through IE. Its for the company
intranet, that way anyone on the network and view it without needing to
have Visio installed. Did you try it on your copy, strange how it works
fine in Visio, then when saved as a webpage it ignores all the zooms!

yea i understand.I have the same problem as it works fine
through visio but I need it for the company intranet as
well so need it through Internet Explorer and yes it
ignores the zoom in that. I've tried alot of times but
nothing works as such.

Also, I looked through the XML data on the shapes, and it includes the href
and the zoom as a special value, however it dosn't work that way. If I
manually select a page, item, and zoom it does work, so it is possible.

flowchart.htm?page=Description&zoom=400

If I try that it shows the page zoomed in at 400. If I specify the shape
then its zoomed in on that at 400. Why the zoom is not being passed in
the hyperlinks in IE is odd because it should be working!

Did anyone ever find a solution to this problem? I, too, am trying to
hyperlink to and zoom in on a specific shape within a Visio drawing
saved as a webpage. I can link to the page no problem, but the zoom-in
on a specific shape fails in the web browser.

Using Visio Pro 2003 and IE6.

Thanks.
