Visio Legend - counting issue

Hi -

I've created some shapes and placed them into my 'Favorites,' after which I
made them into Legend Shapes by dragging them into a Legend (in order to
count them). This was working fine until I saved and closed the Visio -
after re-opening the drawing, the shapes are no longer counted. I've tried
cutting/pasting existing shapes (that were previously counted), draging the
shape on to the drawing from the ' Favorite' stencil and even tried dragging
a stencil back onto the Legend.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

btw-I am using Visio2003 Professional SP3.

Michael,
Great question. Please forgive me at the incompleteness of my answer, but I
think if you investigate the shapes that the legend shape keeps track of you
will discover that each of them have a user field labeled 'visLegendShape'
with a value of 2.0. I suspect if you add the 'user.visLegendShape'
attribute to your custom shapes you may resolve your difficulty.

If I select the shape in question (on my drawing) that was previously being
counted, open the shape sheer, I see User-defined Cells with
User.VisLegendShape as field with value of 2.0. Am I in the right place?
