Visio needs dragging functionality like Photoshop (the hand)

I think it would be great to have the Photoshop capability to hold down the
space bar (or any other key), and use your mouse to perform real time
navigate around Visio drawings while zoomed in. I tried the Pan & Zoom tool
in Visio, but found it clunky to have to first open that tool and have it
take up desktop space versus a dynamic mechanism used in PS to explore an
image.

Anyone know of this functionality in Visio?

Have you tried CTRL+SHIFT + Hold down right mouse button whilst panning?
Works well with wheel on Intellimouse too.

Thanks for the great Visio tip recently on how to navigate an image while
zoomed in. That works on my computer and is precisely the functionality I
was looking for.
