Visio Org Chart

I am compiling a complex org chart for my department. The department
consists of 275 employees - titles ranging from CIO, Assoc. CIO, Directors,
Managers, Supervisors, Employees. My question is "Are there tiers for the
different titles"? Should Managers be one tier and Supervisor be on a lower
tier then employees on the last tier?

Normally an individual appears on the tier below that of the person they
report to. It is a matter of style whether all supervisors are on the same
level or at different levels if the number of people between them and the
CIO is not the same.
