Visio Pro 2007 Install Issue

I am having an issue installing Visio Pro 2007 on a XP Pro SP3 machine. I got
the following error in the very first step after I validate the key and click
continue.
There is no additional information, all I can do is close and exit the setup.

“Microsoft Office Visio Professional 2007 encountered an error during setup.â€

Given below are the MS software’s I have installed in my machine.

• MS Office Professional Plus 2007
• MS Visual Studio 2008 Pro
• MS SQL Server 2008 Dev
• MS .Net Framework 1.1 ... 3.5
• MS Office 2003 Web Components (I don’t know how I got this, it came with
some other MS stuff)

BTW, I downloaded the latest Visio kit from my MSDN subscription.

Has anyone ever had a similar problem?
I would really appreciate if someone could help me troubleshoot this issue.
I am desperately in need of Visio for a new project.
