Visio Standard 2007 crashes leaving "extra files"

Visio has crashed on me several times. This appears to happen most
frequently when I am attempting to use the auto-number feature.
Anyway, when it has crashed, it then reopens the program and also reopens a
file "Drawing 1" which has all the pages of the file I was working in (but
has the generic filename Drawing 1). I cannot get rid of this. Now, when I
open Visio (because of multiple crashes), it opens with 2 files present -
Drawing 1 and Drawing 2 (each replicas of the file that was open at the time
of the crash).

I have run Office Diagnostics. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Visio and
still have these 2 files present. I have all the Office updates installed.
When I look at Properties for the files, there is no Location or any
information. I am running on Vista Home Premium.

Any help appreciated.

Try searching for the file Autorecover.ini in your Local Settings\App
Data\Microsoft\Visio folder and delete it.

Fantastic!
It took me a minute because my AppData folder was hidden, but it worked.
Thanks!
