Visio Templates

What is the default location for Visio Templates?
Microsoft info is woefully inadequate on this subject.
Also, how do I make a template accessible
in "File", "New"?

Visio 2003 changed the way that Visio looked for the built-in templates and
stencils, but you can still add your own folder pathname to Tools > Options

Advanced > File Paths. Apologies for burying this so deeply in the

product.
