Visio UML Guard Conditions

I've added a guard condition to a UML "Control Flow" state transition, but it
does not get rendered / drawn on the diagram, even though I have the "UML
Shape Display Options -> General Options -> Guard" option turned on.

What do I have to do to make that "guard" be drawn on the diagram?

For those who are wondering what a "guard" would look like if Visio rendered
it, follow the link below and look at the thing labeled with "guard
expression" - here:

Currently, the diagram does not change in any way when I add a guard. Its
as if I didn't add one. But when I check the properties of the UML element
in question, it shows that I have indeed added the "guard". Help!!!

I found my problem: I wrongly assumed that "constraints" was synonimous with
"guards". I've now noticed that there is a guard section in the "Transition"
property page. Once established there, it shows on the diagram just fine.
