Visio Upgrade on Vista 64 bit

I have Visio 2002 Pro not installed on a new Vista Home Premium 64-bit
system. I want to upgrade to Visio 2007 Pro (purchase upgrade only) but want
to know it I need to install Visio 2002 first. If necessary to install Visio
2002 before the update, is it compatible with my Vista 64-bit system?

It is not necessary to install Visio 2002 first. When installing the upgrade
it will ask for proof of a previous edition by having you put in the 2002
CD. I have Visio running just fine on my 64bit Vista Ultimate system.
