Hi Sambita -

Does the file appear to save? What information shows up for modified
date/time on the Sharepoint site - does it appear that the file information
changes at all?
Have you tried refreshing the Sharepoint library view in IE to allow it to
update, and then tried to open the changed file?

Another aspect is what kind of page on the Sharepoint site this occurs on,
and as Chris says, user rights. Does this happen for all users, including
site admins? Does it happen for all clients using the Sharepoint site?
Does it happen on any library in the site?

Hi Sambita,

Is this a problem of rights? Do you have write rights or only read-only?

As far as I know there is no reason that editing Visio 2007 drawings from a
Sharepoint 2007 / WSS 3.0 site would fail to save. It works okay in my
testing here.
If everything works well with a Visio VSD drawing, it should work with a
Visio VDX drawing also. Make sure that the Sharepoint site has all the
proper Mime types registered for the Visio drawing files, for example.
Also, you can try updating to recent service packs to see if that helps.

If you need direct support, especially since this doesn't seem to be
affecting other customers, a support case would be a good idea.
You can use the Support website to help guide you on creating a support
