Vision 2007 Excel 2003 problem with XLSTART book1.xls

Hi.. from Vision 2007, run Data, Reports selecting EXCEL (I have 2003
version). It picks up my customized book1.xls (tool bar was customized along
with Company standards for Headers / Footers on the printouts) ...
The Excel window opens, titled Microsoft Excel - Book1 and I can see that it
is using my custom toolbar... however, it is not using the customized Header
and Footer settings ??? ... I have the same book1.xls copied into every
XLSTART folder I can find on my C drive ... any suggestions? thanx
