VisiTools & such for Visio 2003?

I was looking for some utils & addons for Visio 2003, but they don't
seem to be around. AM I missing something or is still too early for
developers to have published new tools yet?

First place I checked.... only lists support for 5.0, 2000,
2002 versions. I even used their own "search" bar ...

On a hunch, I downloaded a 2002 trial version and tried to run
it. Install comes back with a message that Visio is installed but has
never run on my system (not true), leading me to believe the products
are exceedingly dependent upon version.

You could ask them to ammend their installation, because I am sure that is
the only thing that is required to be done, as Visio 2003 has different
registry keys to check.

Of course, you could check out our Visio 2003 add-ons too at
www.bVisual.net...

Are you teasing me? : ) Seriously....

I looked there, too, and was interested in the CelMaker add-on, but it
did not have a trial download like several of the other utils. More
importantly, it did not include version information. As I recall,
only their visViewer specifically mentioned Visio 2003 support.

bVisual's celMaker was probably what I was looking for at the time,
because I was trying to edit & copy custom properties among several
custom shapes.

It was during the search for a custom property tool that I noticed
Visio 2003 was not well represented on the vendor web sites that
prompted my original post.

Thanks for the replies all.

We are currently reviewing celMaker for Visio 2003 now that we have the
Visio 2003 SDK to examine.
