I copied them to the Document folder and both of them extracted, loaded,
authenticated and are working great so I have a work-around!!
Now onward and upward to networking. I have a SOHO network of 7 machines
here at the house; all XPSP2 systems.
I'm really happy with what I see so far. Keep you posted!!

After furious head scratching, William asked:
| What is BCM?

|||| I've used Vista 5308 for a while and I just now
|||| downloaded/installed Office 2007 beta 2.
|||| From available Office 2007 downloads, I chose and installed:
|||| Office Pro
|||| Outlook Business Contact Mgr
|||| One Note
|||| Project
||||
|||| I did not "register for support" after any of the apps installed.
|||| I rebooted before trying any apps ( figuring I'd then register)
|||| and when I try to run any of them I get an error and a popup
|||| asking if I'd like to send an error report to MSFT. I don't know
|||| / it doesn't tell me what the error is , BUT in Control Panel -
|||| Solutions - it does say that it is a known error and will be fixed
|||| in the next release. Am I on Candid Camera ? My download is 2
|||| hours old and it's a KNOWN bug and will be fixed Next time - No
|||| office app even STARTS ( yes i'm yelling at my PC) !!!
||||
|||| Perhaps Office 2007 Beta and Vista Beta don't work together ?
|||| Although I thought that THAT was the whole idea ? I sent them this
|||| text as feedback. Any suggestions to get this going ? I'm off to
|||| look for answers ( someplace other than MSFT website which doesn't
|||| offer me any solution). Bobb
