Vista Business, IE7 & blocked ActiveX

Hi all.
I just installed Project Server 2007 on a new server. Al Windows X clients
with all versions of IE can download and install the ActiveX controls for all
of the pages except the Windows Vista Business (RTM) machines.

On those I get a "Your security settings do not allow websites to use
ActiveX controls on your computer."

I've check all of the IE settings and started digging in Vista itself. Does
anyone have any ideas on how I can get this to automatically work?

Thanks.

Brian:

I haven't played with Vista yet, so consider this somewhat of a SWAG. Have
you checked the Windows firewall settings? Could you come up with a more
bleeding-edge combination of software?!!<g> You're certainly fearless my
friend.

Brian,

I think this issue is most likely related to Internet Explorer and not
Windows Vista. With my installation of Vista with IE 7.0 I have no problems
accessing our Project Server environment.

In IE go to Tools - Internet Options - Security and then select the zone for
your Project Server (either 'Local Intranet' or 'Trusted Sites'). Then click
'Custom Level' and check all the settings for ActiveX. For testing purposes
you can even try to temporarily enable all ActiveX settings.

Hope this helps.
