Vista opening Excel Files across a network very slowly

I have two computers that are networked - both running Vista - when one tries
to open an Excel File residing on the other there is about a 35 - 45 second
wait before the file is opened.

This happens everytime.

Does this happen only with ONE file?
Otherwise check your TCP/IP settings or switch if an
