Vista Ultimate SP1 and Outlook 2007 SP1

I am encountering a bizzare situation. I have done a clean install of vista
ultimate with sp1. After, I installeds offices 2007 enterprise and sp1.
After configuring outlook to point to an existing exchange server, all
headers appear in outlook. However, the preview is not showing anything
and I am not able to close the outlook. I have tried to take it out of
cached mode and rebooting it, didn't help. Does any have a suggestion?
