Vista Ultimate "There is not enough memory to run Word"

I have Office 2007 and Vista Ultimate and just today began to get this error
message whn tryin to open Word (.doc and .docx) files.

Could I have a conflict with Norton 360 and the Windows firewalls?

It is usually a corrupt normal.dotm or corrupt printer driver. But see the
