Visual C++ Runtime Error when using Code Builder

A

Adrian

I am constantly receiving the above error whenever I attempt to access the
code builder (VB editor) in Access 2003 from a form.

I am attempting to type some VB for a particular event type (by clicking on
the 3 dots) and then selecting Code builder and clicking ok. When I do this
Access displays the above error and then closes the program.

Has anyone come across this before? I have searched for solutions to this
but there doesn't appear to be anything specifically relating to this
happening in Access.

HELP!!!!

From our IS guys...

We set up a 'fake' local printer and set as default and the database worked
fine after this.

OMG...I can't believe that is what it is. I have spent the last week
searching the net for a fix.

I just changed the default printer from my standard HP laser to the standard
image writer and it works.

Thanks Bob, I owe you a print, I was just contemplating rebuilding the PC
this weekend!!!

Cheers
