Hi,
I'm running MSWord 2002 (10.4030.2625) under WinXPHome. I also have
Microsoft Works 7.0 installed. Both came preinstalled on this Dell
machine a year ago. Everything's been fine for a year or so.
Beginning a few days ago, this now happens all the time, and I can't use
Word. While working on a Word document, I get:
Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
Runtime Error!
Program: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office 10\Winword.exe
abnormal program operation
OK
If I press OK, Word closes.
If I launch Word again, I get the Document Recovery task pane listing the
document I was working on (Document 1). If I choose to open it, or save
it, I get the same error message again. I just go in circles.
I found some information here:

which states: "This problem may occur if the Works in Word Suite Add-in
is installed on your computer." It is installed on this machine.
Help. I can't use Word anymore.
