Visual Web Developer and Frontpage

I feel I should warn anyone who has FP2003 and is considering VWD Express
2005.
I have installed VWD Express and opened 2 of my 5 sites in VWD online, when
I tried to open them normally with IE6 I got a DNS error only on the 2 sites
I had opened with VWD.
I do not know why this happened, however my host refreshed the DNS server
and the problem was cured.
It could be a coincidence or some other issue, but I do not feel it is.

Thanks Dave,
It seems it was either a coincidence or a DNS issue bearing in mind that I
have already posted about DNS problems.
I hesitated to try and replicate the problem in case I caused further
damage.

I get the impression that Visual Web Developer which appears to be a
decendant of Visual Studio 2005 is not the same thing as "Expression Web
Designer"?

Right?

Thanks

Hi Tom,
Right!
It is a part of the Visual Basic family and it's free from MS.

Teriel,

VWD uses IIS as a local host on your machine so you can view the sites
you've created using F5. Can't say for sure since I don't use FP, but I
suspect that when you opened those projects a setting was changed in your FP
docs.
