Visually impaired student

I have a student who needs to increase size of WORDS on menu bar, i.e., File,
Edit, View, etc. I was able to locate how to increase the icons, but not the
words.
Does Word have this ability?

Thank you.

It's a Windows display feature, not Word. Also check out the various
accessibility options.

That is "Selected Items" and you can bold them also. That makes it MUCH
easier to read. Display properties/advanced tab/then under Items look toward
the bottom of the list for Selected items. I suggest Verdana for the font.
That is the easiest to read for anyone with sight impaired/aging eyes, etc.
File, etc. will also appear bolded (and in the font and font size you
choose) in IE and any other browser as well as in Word. If she is having any
other problems reading experiment with the other items in that list using
Verdana and bolding and try different size fonts.
