VLOOKUP Function

John

Hi,

I am trying to figure out how I can perform something similar to
VLookup in Excel. For example, I have list (A) with a drop down field
that looks up a column of customer names in list (B). I want the
following columns in list (A) to populate with the correct addresses of
the selected customer; these addresses are also in list (B).

I am using Frontpage 2003 if necessary. Does anyone have an idea of how
to accomplish this. Thanks in advance.

You will need to explain what type of server you are on, and which Extensions
If on Windows and FP SE
- then use a database of spreadsheet as a database
If on Windows and WSS
- then use a data list

PS
Please don't cross post

The server is WSS. But I am using FrontPage to customize the site.

I can not find a VLOOKUP function for a Sharepoint List.

Try asking in the WSS newsgroup at: news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.sharepoint.windowsservices

PS
There is no Vlookup
- you need a data list or data part or database
