please look at the attached spreadsheet, can someone advice what is th
issue with the highlighted cell? Why it is thrwoing NA error?

When you use the argument of TRUE or nothing the list must be sorted
or you will get inexact returns.

I'm amazed you didn't see that G8 and G13 ID numbers don't exist yet
are returning values in those rows.

Add the false argument of =VLOOKUP(G9,lookup,2,FALSE) to see better
results.
