Use Absolute addressing as in
=VLOOKUP(F1,$A$1:$E$1,3,FALSE)
F1 is relative and increments as you drag down the column.
The table references do not change.

To do as Gord suggests, click on the A1 in the formula and then hit the F4
key until you get the desired absolute reference. F4 will toggle through
the four reference choices.
