Give some details about how those sheets are laid out and what data
you have in them, together with a clearer explanation of what you are
trying to do.

Sorry,
First Spreadsheet Column A
5050142552
8704046547
9902863308
5052020251
2599090534
8702794441
5000401686
8702007687

Second Spreadsheet1 Column A
5050142552
9902863308
5052020251
8702794441
5000401686
8702448016
5052084935

I need to create a column on Spreadsheet 1 to match the numbers from
speadsheet 1 and spreadsheet 2.

Put this in B1 of Sheet1:

=IF(ISNA(MATCH(A1,Sheet2!A:A,0)),"not in list 2","present in list 2")

then copy the formula down by double-clicking the fill handle (the
small black square in the bottom right corner of the cursor) with B1
selected. It will tell you if the number is present in the second list
or not.

Hope this helps.

You're welcome, Mary - glad to hear it worked for you.

Of course, you could put a similar formula in Sheet2 to see if there
are any values in there that are not in Sheet1.

You can also apply autofilter to column B to enable you to focus in on
those values present or not present.
