in the range that contains the lookup value, there are
multiple or duplicate entries, is there a function or
formula that gives all possible finds rather than the
first one that excel finds? thanks in advance.

If the functions in the freely downloadable file at
http://home.pacbell.net/beban are available to your workbook, the
VLookups function does.
