VML to HTML hyperlink problem

I'm using visio 2002 SR-1. When saving a page with
hyperlinks to a HTML page using VML format, the html tags
get screwed up in the HTML page. This is documented for
visio 2000 in KB article 282590. I talked to microsoft
who said that the available hotfix is for visio 2000
only. Does anyone know of a hotfix available for 2002?
Can the 2K hotfix be applied in 2002?
