I think that if a product is created and markets itself to create and publish
web pages, it should work on all browsers. this post is rediculous since no
one is offering assistance, only product statements of how it is NOT
supporting ...

i have an issue where the left nav bar is not displaying on IE8 with
published files from publisher 2007.. also rediculous.

should be a patch.

hope you get that we come here for assistance, not legal statements.

Not sure what you want but will try and answer

Publisher 2007 has a patch that has been released SP2 and makes it
compatible with IE8

Legal statements? Where?

Best way to deal with Publisher problems is to learn HTML and Javascript
languages and do your own thing. In the mean time you can look at how
websites displaying working features you want are coded and try to reproduce
it on your pages.

No need to attack the people who are not Microsoft employees and who freely
give their time to help on this forum.

Don't get your panties in a bunch, I'm experiancing the same problems and I
don't understand either. On my Pub2007 pages, the vml code seems to work
fine in FF3 but the gte vml1 doesn't work in IE 7 or 8.
Anyway, the issue with the nav bar I solved by selecting the whole thing,
right click and ungroup. Then publish and preview. For some reason IE8
doesn't show anything that is grouped.
Chin up!
