Voxware audio codec trouble

I am experiencing a compatibility issue between MS Office and MS Outlook
2007. Error messages say to disable the Voxware Audio Codec file
(msacm.voxacm16 file) through the Registry. I am not an advanced techie,
don't want to mess with the Registry - what else can I do to resolve this
issue?
Outlook will not run. Last week I ran the scanpst.exe Inbox Repair tool
when OUtlook failed - as per MS recommendation. What else can I do?
